The short stories on this site are (mainly, not exclusively) set in a world which I have had great fun making up; it is very similar to the world I live in, but a bit tangled about. None of the stories, nor the novels, are intended to explain the whole set-up, but each one, hopefully, gives another angle that helps build up a whole. Two things to mention: in Thicker than Water, for anyone who has not come across the names before Cliodhna is pronounced Clee-ona and Eoghan is like Owen. Necrologue has been previously published, as the title story in a collection published in 2003 by Diva; the collection as a whole won a LAMDA award.
